Why Meditate? - Grasshopper
There are countless ways to meditate but only one main reason to do so.
What is that desired outcome? Answers!
Yes, the goal may be to be more relaxed, but relaxed for what? - For more answers to come through.
When our mind is jammed, we are tense. When we allow tension to melt and fade away with our meditation, we clear space in our mind for answers.
Prayer is a form of meditation. I don't know where I read the following quote but it's quite appropriate here. "When most people pray, they talk. When you meditate you listen."
"Talking" and "tension" both begin with the same letter. They are co-conspirators in keeping answers from coming our way.
Why meditate? To give the relaxed you more say.
All the best,
John
