Before You Hibernate, Show Your Most Brilliant Colors - Grasshopper
I think Autumn is the season that reminds us of our brilliance and I believe it's our life's mission to show the world our colors.
Admit it, even if not aloud, that you are really good at something. It doesn't matter if you deem that something unimportant; just acknowledge that you are good at something. This recognition alone puts you in touch with your creativity which allows your brilliance to blossom.
Your internal nudgings are perpetually pushing you to allow your assorted colors to be on display just like the vivid array of fall foliage. The prime time to do that is now before you let hibernation set in again.
My experience is we spend too much time hibernating and not enough time creating. Yes, hibernation is a period of rest and rejuvenation that is necessary but when we overuse it, our colors are dull.
It seems for most, that rich, colorful insights come in the second half of life. It's as though a sense of eternal hibernation comes more to the fore, and our internal color making machine has a sense of urgency to spin out the vibrant tapestry we innately know is ours to show.
Regardless of age, your time to bring out your special colors is always now, not yesterday or tomorrow. Time has not passed you and your colors by, and tomorrow is hibernation by a different name. Now is the most colorful time in your life. Show us your colors because we all benefit when they're on display.
All the best,
John
