When Peace Is Out Of Focus, You’re Focused On Something Else - Grasshopper

Peace is always in our camera’s frame; we just negate it by keeping conflict in sharper focus.

One of the things I like most about higher end cameras is they allow you to keep something in sharp focus while fuzzing out distracting things in the background.
We are all high end cameras but we perform like point and shoot disposables. This makes for a very cluttered picture and keeps us from zeroing in on the one thing that dissolves conflict - Peace.
How often do we focus on conflict when peace is also a choice? The answer is too often. That’s because we forget we have a choice.
I would never argue that peace is always the right choice; that would cause too much conflict. My main focus is to point out that peace is often an overlooked option.
We are wired for peace and conditioned for conflict.
It’s our conditioning that keeps peace out of focus. Conflict is something that we’ve learned to home in on and when we realize that peace is also a possibility, we offer ourselves the opportunity to create a much better picture.
As you look out through your lenses today, notice that peace is always there. When we take a moment to adjust what’s in focus, we add another great photo to our life’s album.
Focus on peace and notice that conflict falls out of focus.
Here’s hoping you have a picture perfect day.
All the best,
John
