What are we attempting to excuse? Simply put: Our behavior.

The best an excuse can do is buy you time. But if you back it up with another excuse the next time, your time is running out.

Everyone knows your excuse is BS, especially you.

Continually excusing someone's behavior is enabling them in the worst way.

How many "doors" do battered woman have to walk into before no one is buying their excuse for their cuts and bruises?

Continually excusing your own behavior is the deepest of illusions.

How much longer are you going to disappoint others with you excuses? More importantly, how much longer are you going to disappoint yourself?

People that are loaded with excuses believe they are special - meaning entitled. The tacit piece of pap they put out is that no one understands them. Perhaps no one can understand them because they offer nothing tangible - just excuses.

Let's call a spade a spade. Excuse ladened people are liars.

I have to be honest; I have never met anyone who has outgrown that behavior. Inveterate liars seem to take their skill to the grave leaving a trail of excuses behind.

I guess my message is this: This is a WARNING on the Ides of March!

If you are associated with someone who is filled with excuses, get unassociated as quickly as possible or you're going down with them. They are not going to change. They are psychopathic liars and they don't believe they have to change.

There's hope for you, but none for them. You can stop making excuses; they can't. Get out NOW!

There is no excuse that works for someone who's a serial excuser.
