Flashy Inspiration - Grasshopper

Did you ever notice that inspiration comes in a flash, not piecemeal? This is my way of saying that you won’t think your way to inspiration. Thinking’s too slow.

Here’s a little science to back me up. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. The speed of sound is 1086.9 feet per second. You can clearly tell the vast difference.

Your flash of inspiration is coming at the speed of light. Comparatively speaking, sound (your thoughts) hasn’t even left the starting blocks yet.

Your thoughts, like your obese uncle, take up too much room in your mind and move slower than molasses on quaaludes. That means they block inspiration from popping in.

Want more inspiration? Take the time to trim down your thoughts. Any mind quieting exercise will do. Not only will you get more peace of mind, but you’ll also get more pieces of inspiration flashing in.

If you’re looking for more ah-has, put your thinking cap on pause and experience flashes of brilliance coming through to you.

All the best,

John
